We have a variety of online places where we can gather and learn about one another.
For instance, I like to choose information from sites that I trust such as well-known networking sites or online news formats.
This way, as you accumulate new friendships, you have some sort of home base with an initial point of reference.
In gaining new friendships online, be sure to complete due diligence and assume a stalwart stance of patience to learn what your new friend is really about. Trust me, it will pay off.
Online friendships have the potential to be a risk, but it is my belief that if we remain well-informed, just as in any situation, we can prosper and enjoy one another to the fullest heights.
Implementing a few different ways to garner your trust when meeting new folks on the internet can help.
